Location: St. Thomas
Jumpstart your career as an IT Support Analyst Tier 1 with the County of Elgin, focused on providing exceptional technical assistance. Ensure that county staff receives quality tech support across diverse systems.
In this permanent, full-time role, you will report to the Manager of Information Technologies and contribute significantly to daily IT operations.
Your role involves collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve user issues effectively while supporting ongoing technology initiatives and service enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist users with technical setup and training
• Document service requests and incidents efficiently
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors
• Maintain an organized asset inventory for IT equipment
• Promote a culture of customer service in IT operations
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in IT or comparable field
• 2-4 years of hands-on IT support experience
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware
• Knowledge of Active Directory and cloud systems
• Strong attention to detail in technical tasks
