IT Support Technician in Waterloo

Location: Southwestern Ontario

EPE seeks an IT Support Technician to enhance technology use at our Waterloo Office. Deliver top-notch systems support and resolve IT issues for both local and remote staff.

As an integral part of the Electric Power Engineers team, you will focus on system maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing IT solutions. Collaborating with executives and corporate departments, you'll ensure new employees are equipped with the technology they need on day one. This role is vital to facilitate smooth operations in our mission to innovate the grid of the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain IT systems and networks

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

• Collaborate with HR for new employee equipment setup

• Track inventory levels of equipment and materials

• Provide triage support via phone and email

Requirements:

• Minimum two years in an IT-related role

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Experience with Windows OS and MS 365

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs

• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
