Location: Southwestern Ontario
Join Google as a Site Reliability Manager where you’ll engineer fault-tolerant systems on a large scale. Leverage your coding and project management skills to optimize reliability and performance.
This management role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, alongside eight years of software development experience. You will lead teams, manage projects, and tackle complexities unique to Google's expansive infrastructure while ensuring reliability and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build a high-performance culture across diverse locations
• Improve Mean Time to Detect and Mitigate incidents
• Influence design of new network products for safe rollout
• Define and monitor Network Service Level Objectives
• Conduct blameless postmortems for system improvements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8 years of software development experience
• 3 years managing teams in tech environments
• Experience with distributed systems engineering
• Advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures
