Asset Management Expert for Waterloo Facilities

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Lead asset management initiatives at the University of Waterloo as an Asset Management Expert. Your objective will be maximizing data accuracy within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

This permanent, full-time role is key in developing and implementing asset data governance, ensuring seamless integration with operational systems. You will oversee the asset lifecycle from data migration to compliance reporting, playing a critical role in supporting maintenance and planning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Govern asset data quality in the CMMS

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate asset registries

• Develop processes for asset condition assessments

• Generate reports on deferred maintenance and planning

• Train staff on asset data protocols and usage

Requirements:

• Degree in management engineering or related field

• 3+ years experience managing asset systems

• Knowledge of facilities and maintenance environments

• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to develop and document training materials
