Senior Networking Engineer: AWS Focus

Location: southwestern ontario

Join Magnet Forensics as a Senior Dev Ops Engineer with a focus on AWS. In this role, you will design high-availability network architectures while working in a flexible, hybrid environment.
This position involves managing multi-account, multi-region networking solutions, ensuring secure connectivity and network efficiency. Your collaboration with various teams will enhance both infrastructure reliability and automation using cutting-edge tools and practices. You will also focus on compliance with industry standards while implementing best-in-class security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect AWS networks with secure and scalable designs

• Facilitate VPC peering and connectivity solutions

• Design hybrid connectivity methods (VPN, Private Interconnects)

• Manage DNS architecture using Route 53 effectively

• Implement Infrastructure as Code for network development
Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in computer science or networking

• Strong AWS expertise, particularly in networking

• Experience with security best practices for cloud environments

• Familiarity with CI/CD and automation tools

• Solid scripting knowledge (Python, Power Shell)
