SQL Server Administrator at LROIT

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Secure a pivotal role as a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator with LROIT in a hybrid setting in Waterloo. Focus on performance, security, and availability for key insurance systems through collaboration.

This role requires 3-5+ years of direct SQL Server administration within an enterprise environment. You will be responsible for monitoring database environments, configuring instances in Azure, and optimizing queries. As part of a collaborative IT team, you'll drive significant improvements and help protect sensitive data through best practices and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain SQL Server instances across environments

• Monitor and optimize database performance effectively

• Create and test backup and restore strategies

• Implement disaster recovery plans and high-availability configurations

Requirements:
