Location: Southwestern Ontario
A full-time Buyer opportunity awaits north of Waterloo, ideal for those with buying experience. Collaborate in a friendly environment while honing your purchasing expertise.
Our client is actively seeking a Buyer to join their purchasing team in a permanent capacity. Candidates must have at least 3 years of purchasing experience and should be adept at working in a team-oriented setting. Key qualifications include experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong communication skills, with overseas purchasing experience being beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage purchase orders efficiently
• Verify accuracy of purchase order invoices
• Track KPIs and troubleshoot when necessary
• Work with various divisions to streamline processes
• Monitor inventory and daily purchasing reports
Requirements:
• 3+ years of relevant experience required
• Purchasing overseas is a valuable asset
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems necessary
• Holding SCMP or CSCP designation is a plus
• Strong communication skills essential
