Director of Operations

Position: Director of Operations at Metro Supply Chain
Drive strategic growth and operational excellence as the Director of Operations at Metro Supply Chain. Oversee distribution centers while fostering customer relationships in the Defence and Industrial sector.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, your role focuses on expanding the customer portfolio and ensuring operational excellence across various centers. You will partner with General Managers to deliver innovative supply chain solutions, enhancing profitability and meeting client needs. Success in this position hinges on your leadership skills and ability to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead negotiations with prospective clients on contract expectations

• Conduct regular business reviews to ensure KPI performance goals

• Develop logistic solutions for clients in collaboration with the team

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout facilities

• Spearhead successful new business start-ups with strategic planning

Requirements:

• Minimum five years at a Senior Management level

• Ten years in Operational Management within relevant sectors

• Experience managing multiple customer contracts and successful startups

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent expertise

• Knowledge in ISO certification/audits preferred
