Shape the future of energy as an Indirect Procurement Specialist with Power Co in St. Thomas, Ontario. This hybrid role focuses on supplier onboarding and procurement strategy during a pivotal company ramp-up.

Power Co is launching its largest battery cell factory, and we need a highly organized Procurement Specialist to support our North American operations. You will collaborate closely with teams in Germany and Ajax, ensuring efficient procurement processes are established. With responsibilities in sourcing, risk assessment, negotiation, and mentoring new hires, your contributions will be crucial during this transformative period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of general goods and services

• Ensure timely supplier onboarding activities

• Oversee framework contract migration processes

• Evaluate purchasing strategies and present results

• Liaise between North America and Power Co SE in Germany

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Business or related field

• Minimum 3 years in Purchasing and Contract Management

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Experience with vendor communication and cross-functional teams

• Capability to identify cost savings and improve processes
