Director of Procurement & Operations at APEX

Elevate operational capabilities at APEX Fabrication & Supply Ltd. as the Director of Procurement & Operations. This role focuses on enhancing procurement strategies and operational performance within the fire protection industry.

As a senior leader, you will oversee all operational and procurement strategies at APEX, directly reporting to the COO. Responsibilities will involve supplier management, quality assurance, and contributing to a zero-incident safety culture. Your expertise in strategic procurement and operational leadership will drive significant business improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct APEX’s fabrication, warehouse, and logistics functions

• Manage financial performance including P&L accountability

• Lead QA initiatives to ensure compliance with specifications

• Foster a culture of safety across all operations

• Negotiate contracts and oversee supplier management strategies

Requirements:

• 8–13 years of progressive leadership in fire safety or contracting

• Deep experience in strategic sourcing and negotiation

• Strong fluency with ERP systems in procurement and operations

• Proven management of P&L in fabrication settings

• Preferential knowledge of fire protection supplies and materials
