About the Role:

We are seeking reliable, dedicated Custodians to join our school facilities teams in West Lorne, St. Thomas, and Aylmer. Custodians play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting classrooms, hallways, washrooms, and common areas
• Set up and take down furniture and equipment for school events
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, grounds, and exterior walkways as required
• Monitor and restock supplies (soap, paper products, cleaning materials)
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and report repair needs
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Secure the building by locking doors and ensuring alarms are set (depending on shift)

• Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in schools or large facilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Police check: VSC-Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Flexibility to work evenings or split shifts depending on school needs
