Note:

This is a full-time and on‑call position based in London, ON. Reporting directly reporting to the Facilities Supervisor; pay rate as agreed, based on experience, expertise, and applicable education.

Teen Challenge is a 12‑month, faith‑based, in‑residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older. We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction. We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.

Our Ontario Men’s Centre is looking for a full‑time Custodial Coordinator. The primary responsibility of the Custodial Coordinator is to perform general cleaning duties within an office and rehabilitation setting, while providing supervision of students assigned to daily custodial work therapy duties.

Responsibilities include:

the utilization of all necessary cleaning materials and equipment to perform various daily cleaning tasks, perform seasonal tasks as needed, including pool maintenance, removal of snow or debris from sidewalks and parking lots, ensure all necessary health and safety standards are adhered to in their entirety, report any health and safety concerns to appropriate personnel, dispose of refuse and oversee sanitization of work area, utilize necessary PPE and adhere to WHMIS and SDS where applicable.
