Working Pattern: APPLICANT WILL BE WORKING 9 HOURS PER DAY / 45 HOURS PER WEEK - MONDAY TO FRIDAY ON A FLEXI SHIFT BASIS BETWEEN 05.00AM TO 22.00PM.

To provide a High Standard of cleaning within the Essex Police Buildings this would include the cleaning of Office Areas, Toilets/Showers, Kitchen Areas and General Cleaning of Cells.

• Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with the cleaning specification and work schedules including Custody but not Foul Cells.
• Complete ADHOC jobs as requested by your line manager.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
• Due to the nature of the work confidentiality is always required.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are always followed.
• Follow the safe use of chemicals guidance (COSHH).
• To ensure the handover of any outstanding work.

• Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
• Excellent time management.
• Attention to detail and proactive.
• Experience:
  
  Experience in working within a team as well as on your own – essential.
• Knowledge of COSHH.
• Previous experience within similar role.

• Flexible approach to working hours, including working weekends & Bank Holidays.
• Willingness to take any further appropriate training.
