North Custodian Position

Support cleanliness and maintenance as a Custodian at the YMCA in North London, Ontario.

Your role is vital in promoting a healthy environment for all members and staff.

In this role, you'll adhere to YMCA’s cleaning standards while performing essential tasks for member areas and facilities. The Custodian is expected to demonstrate professionalism and commitment, while efficiently managing the cleanliness of the premises. This job also entails lifting and mobility to facilitate thorough cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all cleaning duties assigned by supervisors

• Promote YMCA core values during daily operations

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment efficiently

• Lift items over 20 pounds as necessary

• Assist with seasonal outdoor cleaning tasks

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset

• Basic computer knowledge preferred

• WHMIS certification is essential

• Valid Criminal Record Check required

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
