Underground Maintenance Supervisor Position

Compass Minerals is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for its Underground Salt Mine in Goderich. Oversee a dedicated maintenance crew while focusing on safety and productivity.

As a key leader in the Goderich Salt Mine, you will manage a team of 10 maintenance workers while ensuring adherence to safety practices. This supervisory role focuses on effective communication, project prioritization, and fostering employee development to maintain high productivity levels underground.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly manage and train maintenance crew members

• Facilitate monthly safety meetings and discussions

• Diagnose equipment issues and manage repair scheduling

• Communicate maintenance needs and updates

• Enforce safety protocols and maintenance standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience with 2 years in supervision

• Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Project planning and supervision experience
