Custodial Associate at RIM Park

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Become a Custodial Associate at RIM Park in Waterloo. This part-time role includes facility maintenance, housekeeping, and customer service duties during evenings and weekends.

As a Custodial Associate, you will report to the Facilities Operations Manager and play a vital role in maintaining clean and safe recreation facilities. Your daily tasks will involve cleaning restrooms, sweeping, mopping, and ensuring that all areas are ready for public use. Excellent customer service skills will be crucial as you interact with facility users and assist with events and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in recreation facilities daily

• Provide excellent service to facility users

• Sweep and mop washrooms and hallways

• Patrol washrooms, collecting garbage and recycling

• Report safety hazards and maintenance needs

Requirements:

• Secondary education or equivalent experience

• Custodial or housekeeping experience preferred

• Understanding of health and safety principles

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable transportation for varying shifts
