Facility Cleaner at Stork Family YMCA

Deliver essential cleaning services at the Stork Family YMCA in Waterloo Region. This full-time role requires dedication to cleanliness, detail, and customer service excellence.

As a Facility Cleaner, you will ensure high standards across our facility, including showers, washrooms, and common areas. This role demands an organized approach, the ability to manage cleaning supplies, and the physical stamina to perform various tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Clean showers, washrooms, and common areas regularly

• Refill dispensers and maintain cleaning supplies

• Wash, dry, and restock towels as needed

• Attend trainings and meetings as required

• Ensure adherence to YMCA cleanliness standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year experience in a cleaning role

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Commitment to a socially inclusive environment

• WHMIS certification and First Aid with CPR-C preferred

• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs
