Position: Housekeeping Job Opening – The Salvation Army

In this position, you will contribute to The Salvation Army's mission by ensuring the environment is clean and safe for clients at the London Centre of Hope. The role requires adherence to established procedures, efficient communication with management, and professional cleanliness. Successful candidates will help maintain a positive atmosphere while managing cleaning equipment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all equipment regularly

• Perform bed bug checks in cooperation with staff

• Report property damage immediately

• Engage in wellness checks as time allows

• Follow safety protocols in all tasks

Requirements:

• Two years’ experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles

• Secondary School Diploma needed

• Completion of a background check with vulnerable sector screening

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Capability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
