Position: Custodian Role at Huron-Perth Catholic District
Join the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board as a Custodian ys School. This Permanent position prioritizes creating a safe, clean environment for education.

This .5 FTE role reports to the Principal and focuses on general cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the school property. Candidates should have solid custodial experience and a strong ability to perform minor repairs as needed.

Your role will directly influence the comfort and cleanliness of the learning environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cleaning equipment to manage debris effectively

• Wash and maintain windows and interior surfaces

• Empty trash cans and manage waste disposal

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax various surfaces

• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking lots

Requirements:

• Previous custodial experience required

• Experience in educational settings preferred

• Mechanical aptitude for on-site repairs

• Ability to work well within a team

• Proficient in using computers, Google Workspace preferred
