Position: Full-Time Janitor at Extendicare
Become a vital part of Extendicare as a Full-Time Janitor at Elmwood Place in London, Ontario. Your expertise in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs will contribute to our mission of providing a safe, supportive environment for residents.

As a Permanent Interim Janitor, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs on building systems including HVAC and plumbing. The role demands skills in diagnosing issues, making repairs, and regular housekeeping tasks. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure that all areas meet cleanliness and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and plumbing systems

• Diagnose building maintenance issues and provide solutions

• Repair plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and doors

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas and offices

• Complete scheduled maintenance work orders and record details

Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance, electrical, and plumbing

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently

• Clear criminal record check required

• Flexible to work additional hours as needed

• Maintain a clear and organized work environment
