Position: Janitor with Maintenance Focus at Extendicare
Extendicare is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Janitor at Elmwood Place in London, Ontario. Bring your skills in maintenance and repairs to enhance our residents' quality of life in a supportive environment.

As a Permanent Interim Janitor, your role encompasses preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. You will also perform critical housekeeping duties, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. Your proactive approach will be essential in addressing and documenting repair issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing and lighting

• Conduct cleaning and disinfecting of all common areas

• Handle necessary repairs to building components like doors and drywall

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance work

• Support additional operational needs as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance, electrical, and plumbing

• Capability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs

• Current police record check needed

• Willingness to accommodate flexible work hours

• Strong focus on safety and cleanliness
