YMCA Housekeeper North

Become an integral part of the YMCA team as a housekeeper in North London. This part-time position is dedicated to upholding cleanliness standards and safety within our community facilities.

As a YMCA Housekeeper, you will ensure that all cleaning tasks are carried out meticulously across designated areas. You will engage with the community while ensuring a delightful, clean environment that adheres to YMCA’s core values. Responsibilities include heavy lifting and using specialized cleaning equipment as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out cleaning tasks as assigned in various spaces

• Follow YMCA policies to ensure safety and compliance

• Operate vacuums and floor polishers when needed

• Lift and handle items over 20 pounds effectively

• Assist with seasonal outdoor cleaning responsibilities

Requirements:

• Cleaning experience in recreational settings is beneficial

• Must hold a WHMIS certification

• Complete a satisfactory Criminal Record Check

• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required
