Production Line Worker

Michel Germain Parfums is one of the world’s pre-eminent suppliers of men’s and women’s perfumes, eau de toilettes, beauty creams and other related products. Our more than 1,000 products are in demand around the world and can be found in prestigious outlets such as Macy’s and JC Penney, or on-line via Amazon,  and elsewhere.

We are seeking responsible individuals to join our production line team and contribute to the different aspects of preparing products for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Undertaking tasks and activities assigned by the Team Leader
• Conducting bottling, capping, and filling exercises using various types of equipment
• Packaging products and preparing them for shipment
• Maintaining and monitoring parts inventory
• Processing product returns from customers. This will entail product inspection, disassembly, disposal and other aspects.

Please note the work involves significant repetitive motion, some lifting, and standing for most of the day. Training will be provided on the use of our equipment. Work boots are required.

• Manual dexterity and physical agility
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and punctual
• Forklift license (good to have)
• Experience or ability to work in a computerized environment involving hand‑held scanners, tablets, and other digital equipment

This is a permanent full‑time role at 40 hours per week. Starting salary is $18.50 per hour. This position will be based at the company’s office in Carleton Place, Ontario. While we thank all applicants who apply, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
