Student, Manufacturing IT Night Shift Support Key Job Elements
- Provide direct on-site liaison support to our shop floor workforce to ensure they can access the information systems needed to perform their work.
- Maintain existing IT hardware and software systems, working with tablets, laptops, PCs, MS Office Suite, etc.
- Provide training, support and feedback on manufacturing IT projects as needed.
- Hybrid shift schedule that supports 3rd (night) shift workforce primarily with overlap into 1st (day) shift for training and knowledge transfer as needed.
- Hours are 12:00 AM to 08:30 AM.
- Enrolled in University or College in an IT, Manufacturing or other related program.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management, well-organized, attentive to details and customer focused.
- Demonstrated strength in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- An interest in technology and initiative to drive positive change.
- Previous manufacturing or IT experience is an asset.
