We are seeking a Welding and Fabrication Production Supervisor who is wanting to make the next big step in their career.

Salary range: up to $100,000 plus Overtime if available.

Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the range and beyond the hiring range through annual increases.

• Plan, schedule, assign and prioritize tasks/assignments to achieve the performance of all work and contract requirements
• Monitor assigned work activities to ensure implementation dates are met.
• Provide accurate daily/weekly/monthly status updates on all work activities within the team
• Managekey cost elements e.g. overtime, departmental expenses, HPU’s, MPS
• Lead WSA team meetings and actively identify and implement process improvements
• Use effective coaching techniques to train and develop leadership and technical capabilities of the team
• Ensures compliance of Unifor Contract requirements
• Maintains compliance with: GDLS policies, Trade Compliance (ITAR), ISO procedures Security and Safety regulations and Industrial Training requirements.
• Maintain favorable working relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to work a swing shift operation (3 shifts)

• College Diploma in a technical field, or welding/weld inspection accreditation
• Goal oriented and able to work under demanding conditions
• Demonstrated communication, organizational, problem solving and decision making skills
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision

• Experience in a Unifor/ Union Manufacturing environment
• Previous supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Laser/Fabrication/Welding
