The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Operator to join our nitrile glove manufacturing team.

The Production Operator is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing processes used in the production of nitrile examination gloves. Operators may work in various production areas, including chemical mixing, material handling, and automated production equipment operations. The role involves monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, maintaining accurate records, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Operators work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to support continuous improvement and production objectives.

What You Will Do Production Operation & Control

Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment and processes to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Prepare, handle, and process raw materials in accordance with established procedures and production requirements. Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
Record production, process, and quality data accurately and in a timely manner.
Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment or process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
Support material movement and inventory activities, including the operation of material handling equipment where required.
Follow all safety procedures, environmental requirements, and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to support operational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in root cause investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the position and qualifications.

Successful candidates will initially be assigned to either the Mixing or Dipping area based on operational needs. As part of our cross-training program, employees will progressively develop the knowledge and skills required to support both functions of the manufacturing process. May include other related duties as required, provided such duties are reasonable and consistent with the employee’s qualifications and role responsibilities.

What You Bring

Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Minimum 3 years in nitrile glove or similar manufacturing.
Minimum 3 years experience with automated dipping line machinery, PLC controls, and chemical handling.
Knowledge of industrial safety practices and hazardous material handling.
Ability to perform minor maintenance and adjustments on production equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate issues clearly.
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
