The Salvation Army is seeking ten Kettle Workers for the Christmas season. In this temporary position, your role includes collecting donations, providing information about our programs, and maintaining a positive public presence. Flexibility is key, as shifts may vary between days, evenings, and weekends to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Securely collect donations and manage petty cash
• Respond to donor inquiries about Salvation Army programs
• Present a well-groomed and positive image
• Maintain strict confidentiality of donor information
• Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
• Completed high school or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to kettle locations
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 12 kgs (25 lbs.)
• Willingness to comply with safety policies and procedures
