Bayshore Health Care, a leading Canadian provider of home and community health care services, is seeking passionate and caring Registered Nurses specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) to join our team. The role involves delivering exceptional nursing care, ensuring clients are treated with respect, dignity, and kindness.
ResponsibilitiesYou will use your clinical judgment and skills to ensure clients receive the highest quality care they need and deserve.
Clients will be seen in the Chatham‑Kent, Windsor‑Essex, and surrounding areas, with virtual visits as needed.
Requirements- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Certification as NSWOC / Enterostomal Therapist
- Debridement Certification
- Advanced wound care expertise
Successful candidates will see clients in Chatham‑Kent, Windsor‑Essex and surrounding areas. Virtual visits might be expected if appropriate.
AvailabilityStandard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional work outside of these hours may be required at the request of your supervisor.
Education- RN level nurses who have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body.
- Certification as NSWOC, International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) or Canadian Nurse Associate Certification (WOCC).
- Two years previous experience in the development of wound care management programs in the hospital or community setting. Previous visiting nursing experience will be considered an asset.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening), negative TB test
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle
