As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Penn Highlands, you will engage in holistic care, family education, and support ancillary nursing staff in a clinical setting. Your ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, will be critical in delivering continual care and support. Experience in long-term care is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing duties under the registered nurse's supervision
• Provide family education regarding resident care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Uphold professional nursing practices in clinical areas
• Be adaptable to working different shifts
Requirements:
• Current Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse License required
• Preferably 1-2 years in long-term care
• I.V. certification is a plus
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Passion for resident care and education
