Location: Southwestern Ontario
Join the Professional Practice department as a Lead Nurse in Chatham-Kent. This temporary full-time role is ideal for a Registered Nurse passionate about mentoring and enhancing nursing practices.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent and possess significant acute care experience. The role emphasizes the importance of adult learning principles and critical thinking as you support staff and improve quality care practices in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor nursing staff on professional standards
• Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care
• Organize learning opportunities for continuous staff education
• Uphold excellent attendance and patient responsiveness
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) designation in Ontario
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required
• Experience in acute patient care is essential
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Master’s Degree is preferred for added expertise
