Part Time Registered Nurse at Southbridge

Enhance lives through quality care at Southbridge Care Homes as a Registered Nurse. This part-time evening role focuses on medication administration, assessments, and team collaboration for residents' health.

As a Part Time Registered Nurse, you will report to the Director of Care and play a critical role in managing resident care in a long-term care facility. Your expertise will help in developing care plans and overseeing nursing staff while ensuring compliance with established standards. Active participation in multidisciplinary meetings promotes continuous improvement and quality nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor residents’ vital signs

• Develop, implement and evaluate care plans for residents

• Supervise and train nursing and personal care staff

• Prepare the facility for RAI MDS assessments

• Assume charge of the facility as needed

Requirements:

• Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses Ontario

• Registration with Registered Nurses Association of Ontario

• First Aid and BLS certification

• Previous managerial experience preferred

• Negative vulnerable sector check required
