As an RN, you will report to the Director of Care and contribute significantly to improving resident lives within the long-term care setting. The position requires 30 hours every two weeks, with the possibility of extended hours based on needs. Your strong time management and attention to detail will be crucial in meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer resident care per nursing standards and directives
• Develop and monitor individualized resident care plans
• Supervise nursing staff and support their training efforts
• Assist in preparing for RAI MDS evaluations
• Lead facility operations when needed
Requirements:
• Valid certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Registration eligibility with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario
• Previous managerial experience is an asset
• Commitment to senior health care and support
• Completion of a negative vulnerable sector check
