Become a Nurse Practitioner at Age Care, focusing on enhancing residents' wellness in a long-term care setting. Bring your clinical skills to a nurturing, person-centered environment.
Age Care is dedicated to empowering residents by providing compassionate care tailored to individual needs. We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner who has experience in long-term or geriatric nursing. You'll be responsible for diagnosing illnesses, leading care initiatives, and supporting families in decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and evaluate resident health changes
• Collaborate with MD and healthcare professionals
• Advocate for resident interests during care discussions
• Lead clinical teams in dementia and palliative care
• Monitor and interpret care trends for educational programming
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of geriatric nursing experience
• Leadership knowledge is beneficial
• Active registration as a Primary Health Care RN
• Understanding of Long Term Care and related legislation
• Certificates in behavioral support are an asset
