Position: Registered Practical Nurse for Hospice Care

As part of the hospice team, you will address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents and their families. The RPN position includes 12-hour shifts and requires flexibility in scheduling. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage pain and symptoms effectively, ensuring each resident's dignity is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of resident care in compliance with regulations

• Utilize clinical assessment skills for care planning

• Support residents and families through psychosocial needs

• Document resident care accurately and timely

• Implement physician-ordered medical interventions

Requirements:

• Practical Nurse program completion from an accredited institution

• Current registration with Ontario's nursing college

• Preferred experience in palliative care settings

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• COVID-19 vaccination and vulnerable sector clearance required
