RPN in Long-Term Care

Position: RPN Role in Long-Term Care
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Become a vital part of our caregiving team as a Registered Practical Nurse. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care in a long-term care environment.

As an RPN, you will support patient assessment and care plan implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices in nursing. You will work closely with residents, monitoring their health and well-being in a compassionate, mission-driven environment. This role requires both clinical skills and a genuine interest in improving the lives of seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and conditions

• Participate in developing and reviewing care plans

• Ensure implementation of physicians’ orders

• Report changes in patient conditions to healthcare team

• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and protocols

Requirements:

• Current certification of competence in nursing

• Eligibility for registration with nursing institutions

• Previous managerial experience in similar settings preferred

• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices

• Excellent communication and listening skills
