Chatham-Kent RN – Women's & Children's Health

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join the team in Chatham-Kent as a Registered Nurse specializing in Women’s and Children’s Health on a temporary part-time basis. This role emphasizes perinatal and pediatric nursing.

This temporary position is available to employees of the ONA Bargaining Unit, set to last until February 2027. Applicants should have a Registered Nurse Certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario, alongside 3-5 years of relevant experience in perinatal care. You will focus on labor and delivery, supporting mothers and infants through various stages of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care in Women’s Health

• Assist with labor and delivery procedures

• Manage postpartum patient care effectively

• Provide services in the Level II Nursery

• Administer neonatal resuscitation as required

Requirements:

• Valid RN certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in perinatal care (3-5 years)

• BLS and IV certification required

• Certification in fetal health and pediatric advanced life support preferred

• Completion of a Breastfeeding Education Course is essential
