Elevate resident care as a Full-Time Registered Practical Nurse with Southbridge Care Homes during evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Your role is essential in administering treatments and medications.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in long-term care, focusing on improving residents' health outcomes. You'll assess individual needs, create care plans, and monitor their progress while leading nursing staff according to regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer care according to nursing standards and protocols
• Evaluate and develop individualized care plans for residents
• Monitor health status and document necessary changes
• Supervise nursing staff and orient new personnel
• Ensure adherence to established infectious control practices
Requirements:
• Valid certificate of competence from the College of Nurses
• Eligible for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association
• Current First Aid and BLS certification required
