Candidates should hold current RPN certification with the Ontario College of Nurses, a BCLS certification, and have two years of recent hospital experience. Successful applicants will have a track record in medication administration and an understanding of gerontology practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach patients in daily living activities

• Manage patient medication administration

• Process and follow physician orders effectively

• Provide care focusing on geriatric needs

• Adhere to CKHA nursing standards and practices

Requirements:

• Current RPN certification from Ontario College of Nurses

• BCLS certification required

• Minimum two years hospital nursing experience

• One year geriatrics experience required

• Preferred certification in Gerontology
