Transform patient outcomes as a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (NSWOC). Implement advanced management strategies in a community nursing role, delivering specialty care and education to patients and staff.
In this part-time position, you will offer direct patient care, educating others while collaborating within a supportive healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert wound and continence care directly
• Guide education for nursing staff and patient families
• Offer management recommendations during consultations
• Engage in wound/ostomy clinical leadership
• Mentor nursing staff in evidence-based practices
Requirements:
• Certified NSWOC nurse required for application
• At least 2 years of experience as an RN in community care
• IIWCC certification may be advantageous
• Preferred membership with nursing association
• Strong communication and mentorship skills
