Location: Aylmer
Make a difference in geriatric care as a Registered Practical Nurse laborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality nursing services to residents.
In this role, you will provide nursing care in line with Age Care policies, working closely with the Registered Nurse and other professionals. Your input will help revise procedures while ensuring all residents' needs are met. Additionally, you will direct Personal Support Workers in delivering comprehensive care. Your communication with health team members is vital for coordinating resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver professional nursing care to residents in line with best practices
• Collaborate with health care team members and liaise with physicians
• Direct Personal Support Workers on resident care protocols
• Participate in shift reports to communicate resident status updates
• Assist in revising nursing care procedures for efficiency
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge of relevant health care acts and regulations
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Capacity to handle changing resident needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
