Chatham-Kent Professional Practice Leader

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Take a leadership role as the Professional Practice Lead in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. This temporary full-time position requires your expertise as a Registered Nurse to improve nursing practices and patient care.

As a member of the Professional Practice team, you will need a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.

Your role will focus on direct patient care in acute settings while fostering a culture of learning and development among nursing staff. Critical thinking and understanding of adult education principles are key to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee mentorship of nursing team members

• Engage in direct patient care in acute environments

• Work alongside healthcare teams to elevate patient outcomes

• Lead educational initiatives for nursing staff development

• Maintain a record of excellent attendance and engagement

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ontario

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required

• Significant experience in acute care settings

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Preferred Master’s Degree to enhance nursing leadership
