St. Joseph's Hospital RN - Surgical Care

Join St. Joseph's Health Care in London, ON, as a Registered Nurse in our Post Surgical Care Unit. This full-time position requires experience in acute care settings and a focus on patient recovery.

In this role, you will blend your skills in adult critical care and inpatient nursing, specifically in post-operative settings. Your critical thinking abilities will be essential in addressing complex patient needs. Engaging with an interdisciplinary team, you'll provide holistic care and actively support emergency interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre- and post-operative nursing care

• Facilitate recovery in both PACU and surgical units

• Assist the Medical Emergency Response Team during incidents

• Involve in teaching and researching within clinical practice

• Maintain adherence to a strong safety culture in healthcare

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario nursing registration with the College of Nurses

• Experience in critical care and inpatient surgical nursing

• A.C.L.S certification from Heart & Stroke Foundation

• Ability in E.C.G. interpretation and IV initiation

• Commitment to supervision in compliance with OHSA
