As an RPN, you will engage directly with residents to provide nursing care and advocate for their personal needs. Your key functions involve medication management, adhering to care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. You will need to maintain registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess valid CPR credentials, showcasing your ability to manage stress and prioritize effectively in a multifaceted role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer treatments and medications safely
• Follow established care plans meticulously
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for resident care
• Update care plans using effective computer skills
• Identify and communicate changes in resident conditions
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Heart Save Level CPR certification
• Knowledge of Long-Term Care standards and regulations
• Ability to prioritize under stress
• Preferably experienced with dementia patients
