Part-Time RPN at Columbia Forest

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Enhance nursing care quality as a Part-Time RPN/LPN at Columbia Forest. This role emphasizes effective management with adherence to established nursing standards and community home care.

You will ensure nursing practices meet established standards and report on resident conditions. The position includes assessing patients, developing care plans, and monitoring health changes. A reliable vehicle is required for community home care tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in line with nursing standards and policies

• Record and report vital signs and symptoms of residents

• Assist in patient assessments and develop care plans

• Monitor health and assess referrals to physicians

• Process and implement physicians’ orders accordingly

Requirements:

• Current province-approved certificate of competence

• Registration eligibility with provincial institutions

• Previous managerial experience in long-term care

• Experience with cognitively impaired individuals

• Strong communication and organizational skills
