Play a vital role in healthcare with Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services as a Registered Nurse. Focus on client assessments, health plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
This position is for a Registered Nurse with community-focused nursing experience. At Sunbeam, you’ll assess health care needs and develop Person-Centered Support Plans for clients with developmental disabilities. You will also provide education, manage medication, and support families dealing with complex health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for individual clients
• Develop and update Person-Centered Support Plans (PCSPs)
• Provide health care teaching to clients and staff
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to prevent health concerns
• Assist in policy and procedure development
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse certification in Ontario
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Nursing Diploma or BSc in Nursing experience
• Community nursing experience with developmental disabilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
