Join Alexandra Marine & General Hospital as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse and impact patient care in our community. Engage in flexible shifts while providing essential nursing support across diverse medical departments.
At AMGH, you will be a crucial part of our healthcare team by ensuring high-quality patient care across Medical/Surgical and Mental Health divisions. This part-time role offers a variety of shifts, allowing you to balance work alongside personal commitments. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to assess and manage multiple patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver supportive nursing care in diverse medical settings
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Manage medication distribution and IV therapy
• Adapt to fast-paced situations as needed
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
• Valid RPN registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS and Code White certifications
• Proficiency in Meditech or similar software
• Relevant psychiatric nursing experience preferred
• Strong commitment to professional growth
