Location: St. Thomas
Join Indwell as a Registered Practical Nurse on a 12-month contract in St Thomas, Ontario. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care in a supportive housing model.
In this full-time role, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and the Clinical Lead, utilizing your full scope of practice. Focus on integrating physical and mental health care, supporting residents who have experienced marginalization. This enriching position demands resilience and a commitment to person-centered care, fostering dignity, love, and hope.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for holistic care
• Provide direct nursing care to residents within your scope
• Coordinate and lead supportive care plans with professionals
• Maintain oversight of medication support programs
• Engage in community outreach and health education
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Registered Practical Nursing program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in community nursing, especially mental health
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid 'G' class driver’s license with own vehicle
