Nurse Practitioner, Substance Use Disorder Service (SUDS)
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician‑led, 650+ provider multispecialty group that seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant committed to a multi‑disciplinary team approach to patient care in a Family Practice setting. The provider will directly manage patients, performing school and sports physicals, chronic disease management, and other related examinations, procedures, and services. The role also includes ensuring compliance with standards of care and requesting timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources.

CallRotation to answer patient phone calls. No required hospital call

- Provide patient care in a Family Practice setting, including examinations, procedures, and chronic disease management.
- Maintain compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines for medical treatment.
- Coordinate consultations or referrals with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as needed.
- Participate in the MyChart telehealth program to deliver care to patients via smartphone, tablet, or PC.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system for patient documentation and management.
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Oregon.
- Valid controlled substance registration with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and the DEA.
- Strong medical background with a desire to provide care within a growing, multi‑specialty medical group.
- Obtain an Idaho medical license to maintain and strengthen the Health System’s internal program across all served communities.
Ontario, Oregon and Fruitland, Idaho serve as the retail, service, and medical center for 70,000 people within a 20‑mile radius. The community is served by major highways and a general aviation airport located one hour from Boise, Idaho.
