Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Join the MHA team as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, responsible for comprehensive patient care across all CTAS levels. This role requires flexibility for various shifts, including nights and weekends.

The MHA is seeking a qualified nursing professional to deliver acute care within their Emergency Department. You will need a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a minimum of two years of emergency nursing experience. Essential qualifications include vaccination records, BLS-HCP certification, and effective communication skills to work with a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care for all CTAS triage levels

• Work various shifts, including days and nights

• Actively participate in team-based healthcare delivery

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments

• Continuously assess and prioritize concurrent demands

Requirements:

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration

• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination and immunity testing

• Minimum 2 years emergency nursing experience

• BLS-HCP certification required, ACLS preferred

• Commitment to professional development and teamwork
