Your role as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse at AMGH enables you to provide essential patient care across Medical/Surgical and Mental Health units. The position's flexible shifts allow you to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends, promoting work-life balance. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to continuous improvement and development in nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality nursing care across different patient areas
• Perform patient assessments and monitor ongoing needs
• Oversee medication administration and IV management
• Stay adaptable in crisis and rapid-change scenarios
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare colleagues for optimal outcomes
Requirements:
• Registration and certificate with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS and Code White certifications
• Familiarity with Meditech or equivalent systems
• Background in psychiatric nursing is a plus
• Commitment to personal and professional education
